Sanja (Sonja) began her journey in manual therapy nearly 30 years ago at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. After graduating, she spent the first nine years of her career practicing in Vancouver, where her passion for learning and clinical excellence led her to pursue advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy, Neurostructural Integration, Zero Balancing, and LaStone Therapy. During this time, she also immersed herself in yoga and Pilates, deepening her understanding of movement, alignment, and the body’s innate ability to heal.
Her professional path then took her to Toronto, where she began raising a family. This chapter inspired a growing interest in holistic approaches to supporting children and families, including Touch for Health and pediatric fascial work. These studies strengthened her appreciation for the body’s structural and energetic balance and its profound influence on healthy development.
For the past 17 years, Calgary has been home. While raising her family, Sanja continued to expand her expertise, with a particular focus on Visceral Manipulation and the relationship between the internal organs, fascia, and musculoskeletal health.
Despite decades of clinical experience and extensive training, Sanja’s curiosity and commitment to her patients only grew stronger. This lifelong pursuit of understanding eventually led her to Manual Osteopathy, where she integrated the principles and techniques of all her previous studies into a comprehensive and highly individualized approach to care.
Today, Sanja combines nearly three decades of hands-on experience with a broad range of therapeutic modalities to help patients restore balance, improve function, and achieve lasting health and healing. Her treatments are thoughtful, intuitive, and grounded in a deep respect for the body’s remarkable capacity to recover when given the right support.
